A high school teacher by academic training, Jason spent the first 10 years of his professional life as an international classroom teacher in Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia. Since his full time return to Canada in 2002, he has been a general manager of an operating division within a large, well known group of New Brunswick companies.
Being responsible for overseeing and managing cross functional teams that offer custom recruitment marketing solutions to businesses all over Atlantic Canada and beyond, Jason has developed a strong understanding of both the challenges and opportunities facing companies in Atlantic Canada.
Jason is very excited about the opportunity and economic timing to introduce BarterPay to his local market:
"In my current role and business training I have been very fortunate to work with literally thousands of Atlantic Canadian companies from all industry sectors and verticals over the years. When I became familiar with the BarterPay concept it was a no-brainer for me to get involved by committing to a franchise. By allowing organizations to preserve cash flow with BarterPay we are solving a real economic challenge while also providing a strong competitive advantage and creating organizational efficiencies at the same time. I have had the opportunity to see how well it is already working in other regions across Canada, and I know it will be successful here locally for our members too. I strongly believe in the BarterPay model and know that its concept and results will resonate deeply with the Atlantic Canadian business mindset and marketplace".
As the owner/operator franchisee for BarterPay New Brunswick, Jason is leading the startup efforts and putting key people in place to establish a local BarterPay presence. Starting with Moncton and planning to expand to Saint John plus Fredericton in the near future, within a short period of time the entire province will be able to take advantage of, and benefit from, BarterPay.
