Mike Grantis is an entrepreneur located in Toronto with a knack for brand building, network growth hacking, and sales strategy. In 2017, Mike founded a start-up called Ad Turbine, a digital media-buying company that built performance partnerships with emerging brands in order to drive online sales. Ad Turbine not only generated 6-figure revenue in its first year, but was also profitable in the first 4 months of operation.
Prior to Ad Turbine, Mike held brand management positions at Fortune 500 companies such as Kimberly-Clark, Hershey's and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. His experience in building and managing brands for major corporations has directly translated into his ability to provide strategic value to smaller, developing companies. Mike’s decision to join BarterPay® was founded in aligned values, a shared vision, and the opportunity to grow a network of lasting partnerships with business owners in his community.
Aside from work, Mike's interests include emerging technology, basketball and traveling. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, co-op option from the University of Laurier in 2016, where he was a member of the Laurier Varsity Basketball Team and received the Sandy Nixon scholarship for excellence in academics and athletics. He has studied abroad, lived in Lisbon, Portugal, and spent more than half a year traveling more than 15 countries around the world. Mike's positive attitude, work ethic, personal and professional network, and life-long learning have all been key factors in the success of his career thus far.
